WOW – that amazes me. Del & Dave Peterson – Congratulations!!! I know people make it longer, but SO many don’t make it nearly that long. These are dear friends of mine and their 4 kids threw them a party.
Don’t they look great?? Don’t see them much now, though we do keep in touch. They’ve moved to Tennessee to a lovely apartment near their kids – don’t blame them but sure miss them. It was a privilege to attend their party and gave me an excuse to spend the weekend with my daughter.
And, you’ve got to look at those shoes. I was totally impressed. Del is my age and there’s no way I could have walked in those heels. She did it like a pro! Love it.
Wow, that’s quite an accomplishment – 60 years of marriage. Congratulations to them!
And good for her for wearing her fancy shoes!

I loved the shoes – I’ve talked to her since then and she said she bought 3 pair of “high” heels. I can’t even imagine 🙂

How fabulous for them. And I had to laugh that you showcased her heels, Iris. That’s going to be me…I always say I want to be buried with my heels on. And my mom still wears them too!!
I think it’s one of those stubborn things, that I don’t want to have to say I can’t wear them…LOL

Oh I loved her heels – and they looked great on her – and she walked like she did that every day (I know she doesn’t). Me – I wore those when I was young – back in another life – but would kill myself today. I do have some heels that are VERY low and usually can’t wait to get them off.
