New Years Resolutions – brought to you by “the Bloggers”

Here’s the monthly edition of “Where Bloggers Live” and today it’s “New Years Resolutions”.  Again, for me that’s a really difficult topic.  Don’t think I’ve ever made New Years resolutions before – but I’m trying this time.

So, here goes:

  1. Do PT (physical therapy) on a daily basis.
  2. Ride stationary bike daily
  3. Walk more daily
  4. Don’t get so annoyed when my internet connection messes up (this one’s a difficult one)

Not much, but that’s about it for me.  If I can just do those things, hopefully I’ll eventually feel like myself instead of an old lady.

Be sure and check out my fellow bloggers, I’m sure they’ll have great gifts to share.

I like your resolutions, Iris. It’s hard for me to be consistent with any type of PT or exercise. I just seem to always be able to find something else I would rather be doing. Especially when it’s cold outside! I’m hoping to get more exercise in 2025 as well. Take good care.

Great list of resolutions. I know the PT part is hard for me. Maybe you could just set a timer and do 5 minutes a day? Or 2 particular exercises on Monday, 2 different ones on Tuesday. I am really struggling to go to PT because I hurt so badly afterward for a day. The Internet gives me fits, too. Actually, all technology does. PC is so patient with me because he sees the crazy things my devices do. Like setting their own alarms. Today we were awakened by an alarm my watch set by itself. I want to try… Read more »

“Don’t get so annoyed when my internet connection messes up (this one’s a difficult one)” Oh gosh, I am SO guilty of this! The wi-fi in my room here is so erratic…I must reboot 3-4 times a day (at least) to get it to reconnect. Very annoying when Korea supposedly has the fastest internet in the world…and it may well have, I just wouldn’t know cuz I’m always getting disconnected here!

Good luck with thosse other ones – activiity resolutions are always the hardest for me!

Happy New Year!

That physical part of our life is super important, and we’ve been working at it also.
But I have no patience when the internet goes out and if you don’t believe me, you should ask my husband.😂😂😂

Ugh! The internet. Honest to goodness today I wanted to go back to dial up.it just kept crashing so maybe I need to work on this with you

Good luck with adding more movement to your day and staying on top of your PT!

You are starting the year off right, my friend!
The top three things on your list are SO so important. Been spending more and more time with my parents and it’s easy to see that everything they didn’t do when they were my age (or younger) has a direct effect on the things they are and aren’t able to do today.
So, I’m with you! Keep moving (and absolutely do the PT)! Your older self will thank you!

The internet is a whole other ballgame of frustration, though…
