Valentine’s Post for “Where Bloggers Live”

Here’s the monthly edition of “Where Bloggers Live” and today it’s “about a hopefull date”.   Not from me though – I’m going to have to rebel and write about something else.  I’ve hardly been posting anything in the last year, and I know I’m running behind on this one.  Be sure to check out the rest of the group (links at the end of the post) as I’m sure they will be a lot more interesting than I am.

No, I don’t want to date anyone!!!  I do love Valentine’s Day though.  It’s a special day for me and has been for a good number of years.

My daughter came by yesterday to bring me some candy, a sweet card and a “I love you” balloon on a stick.

And, I still have some of the sweet Valentine’s from my husband (who’s been gone almost 20 years now.  He knew I always loved elephants (and now have quite a collection), so of course, he had to find Valentine elephants.

Okay, that’s it for me… be sure to check out everyone else.

Those elephants were the perfect Valentine’s gift for the elephant-loving you. They are precious. Love their fuzzy bodies. I am glad you have them to bring you a smile. Your daughter was a sweetie to think of you on Valentine’s Day, too. How are you feeling these days? Has it been a terribly long, cold winter? Are you seeing signs of spring, yet? We enjoyed a 76* day today. I hope to heavens it doesn’t get really cold again because all of our trees and bushes are budding already. Have a peaceful week, my friend.

Short, sweet, lovely and filled with feeling!
I once had a teacher who had us write a paper on a subject… The follow up was to write it again but in one paragraph and still try to convey the most important part.

Looks like you did that here, Miss Iris! 💕 Happy Valentine’s Day

Oh my gosh, it’s been TWENTY YEARS?! 🙁

That means we’ve known one another OVER 20 years! That’s CRAZY!

Your daughter was sweet to come by and visit you for Valentine’s. You’re rich in family, Iris 🙂
