No, it’s not today, but sticking to my schedule - his birthday is October 2 - so super close. Koda will be 7 years old on his birthday. How did that possibly happen. But, does that mean he doesn’t think he’s a puppy - absolutely NOT. I don’t think he’ll ever really ‘grow up’.
This is his “profile picture” - it’s a couple of years old, but I just can’t get a better one.
When I got him they told me he was a “Pomapoo” (half poodle and half pomeranian). Well, if he’s got any poodle it’s extremely well hidden. I wasn’t familiar with Pomeranians, but in my research - he’s exactly like them (besides looking like one). He has their personality, fur, and disposition.

Trust me - no one is going to sneak up on me! He barks at EVERYTHING!!! Nothing gets by him! He is my little sweetie though and sticks to me like glue. If I get up to go to another room, he’s right there with me.
It doesn’t matter what he’s doing - he’s VERY diligent in his responsibilities of “protecting mama”.
Oh, happy birthday Koda. I am sure he will be getting something special this weekend to celebrate??
And don’t we all need a protector like that?? I just loved reading this,

Thanks Jodie. He got a bag of his favorite treats. Of course they have to be rationed out, only one a day so they’ll last awhile. He is definitely my sweetie.
