I have to admit, I do love the fall colors. I don’t love the early dark or the cold weather. I know, it’s Alabama – but it’s COLD to me.
Anyway, I drove around the other day just soaking up the lovely tree colors. Of course, my pictures don’t nearly do the trees/leaves justice, but I’m sharing them anyway.

There were a couple of really unusual trees. Again, the pictures don’t nearly do them justice.

- Huge green tree that looked like yellow puffs on it.

- Strange yellow tree whose leaves were small and limbs not close together

- Another gorgeous yellow tree

- And what a beautiful red tree
And, I could go on and on and on…
It really is so magnificent and our eyes see it so much better than in the photos. I feel that way when I take photos of our sunsets, although when I add some vibrance, then it seems more real.
This is one thing I miss a little in AZ. We don’t get the changes like this unless we travel up to the mountains, which we have done often.

You are so right – what I see with my eyes is not what comes across with the camera. I do love the change in seasons – not crazy about winter because it’s so cold (yes, even in Alabama – to me at least). It’s nice that you have comfortable weather the majority of the year though.
