…but I’m still REALLY tired. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since the wedding – but my body still feels like it was yesterday.
Don’t misunderstand – I’m SO thankful I could be there. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer my #1 prayer was that I would live to see all 8 of my grandchildren graduate from high school. I made that hurdle (with a little help from #5 grandson). Two graduations were a challenge. One was scheduled for Sunday afternoon in St. Louis and the other was scheduled for early evening on Monday in Alabama; #5 grandson drove me to St. Louis and back home – I surely couldn’t have done that alone.
Then a few years later we started having weddings. I made it two all but two of those – and they were COVID weddings so I had to see pictures.
And speaking of pictures – I’ve only seen snapshots so far. Hopefully I’ll live long enough to see the “official” ones.
Keep resting up from your travels, Iris. Traveling can really take it out of you. So glad you have been able to be there for your grandchildren. What a wonderful grandma you are!
AHhh, thank you for the sweet comment. I traveled a lot – even for work (back in the day), and expected to be tired from this trip but had no idea it would hit me this yard. That said, I’m so thankful that I could be there.
