So much for my posting twice a week – excuse or reason – the week just got away from me. Between work and stressors, I simply forgot to post on Wednesday – and I already had a great post ready. Probably no one missed it but me, just annoys me when I’m disorganized! Oh well, it will still be sitting there ready.
I’ve worked all this week and fought with insurance companies – and that’s a whole other post.
My scripture this morning was definitely speaking to me. James 1:2-3, “Count it all Joy, when you have many kinds of trouble. Because these troubles test your faith and will give you patience.”
I don’t know about the patience (I’ve never had much of that), but I do know that even small trouble/annoyances can test your faith!
Another favorite is 2 Kings 6:16 “The army that fights for us is greater than the army that fights against us.” I have to remind myself of that every day.
I needed both of those.
And now it’s Sunday – and now I’m ready for My youngest son to visit. Asher and his lovely wife Wendy are on their way here from the far, far and cold north – Iowa. Won’t be nearly as long a visit as I would like – they rarely are, but it’s a visit and I’m going to make the most of it.
